RICHMOND (Covering Fort Bend News) -The City of Richmond Water Department was again recognized at this month’s Commission meeting for receiving the Outstanding Public Drinking Water System Award from TCEQ, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. 

For multiple years now Richmond has received the Outstanding Public Water System Award which recognizes overall excellence in all aspects of operating a public water system. A water system must go above and beyond minimum standards in protecting public health and ensuring reliable operation.
