FORT BEND ISD (Covering Fort Bend News) –Clements High School students Rachel Poche and Amaris Shi are among the top exhibitors during the 2019 Fort Bend County Fair School Art Auction. The auction rewards the effort and showcases the artwork of Fort Bend County students in grades 8-12. Students enter original pieces of art created in various mediums, including colored drawing, monochromatic, mixed medium, painting and sculpture, in hopes of earning money and winning the coveted Grand Champion ribbon.

Poche entered her painting titled, “Knitting the Day Away,” and earned Best of Class Monochromatic. Shi entered a colored drawing titled “The Chase.” Both Poche and Shi are students of Clements art teacher Kelly Chen.
