FORT BEND ISD (Covering Fort Bend News) – Attendance specialists in Fort Bend ISD’s Department of Student Affairs teamed with the Aliana Market H-E-B to provide students with school supplies during Bush High School’s Freshman Orientation. H-E-B made an in-kind donation of more than 500 school supplies worth $300 for the event.

During the orientation, Attendance Specialist Kenya Washington also joined BHS Assistant Principal Sandra Scott-Bonner, BHS Dropout Prevention Case Worker Daniela Dennis and Fort Bend County Saved by the Bell Case Manager John Cromedy in stressing the importance of students being punctual and attending class each day. They also presented students with information on the Students with Attendance Goals program, truancy and attendance fast facts, graduation requirements, building positive relationships with staff, and more. As attendance incentives, students also received giveaways.
