Fort Bend Forward

FORT BEND ISD (Covering Fort Bend News) – Throughout October and November, Fort Bend ISD will engage stakeholders in discussions to seek information regarding their needs, hopes and dreams for educating their students. Through its Fort Bend Forward/Community-Based Accountability System Hopes and Dreams Forums, FBISD will provide stakeholders representing high school feeder patterns (including parents, students, teachers and community members) an opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas and learn how FBISD is aligning its accountability work with stakeholder expectations.

The district began the forums last spring by meeting with community members representing the Elkins, Hightower and Kempner feeder patterns. The District has scheduled additional meetings throughout October and November for the eight remaining high school communities, including those representing Marshall, Willowridge, Dulles, Bush, Austin, Travis, Ridge Point and Clements. FBISD invites and encourages the community to attend the meeting specific to their high school feeder pattern.

Upcoming Fort Bend Forward community meetings to be held in the following feeder patterns:

Marshall - Oct. 1, 6-9 p.m. at Marshall HS (1220 Buffalo Run, Missouri City, 77489)
