FORT BEND ISD (Covering Fort Bend News) –Ugochi Emenaha, Literacy Interventionist at Goodman Elementary, has been named the overall 2019 Kroger and Houston Dynamo Classroom Champ. Each year, Kroger and Houston Dynamo seek out and reward outstanding teachers in the Greater Houston Area who are dedicated to serving their students, school, district and community.

Emenaha is among five educators selected from the many nominees as Classroom Champs by Kroger and Dynamo Charities stakeholders. Included among the four runners up is Sugar Land Middle School math teacher Kevin Rodriguez.

As the Classroom Champ Grand Prize Winner, Emenaha will receive an in-store Kroger shopping spree in August. During the event, a Houston Dynamo player will join her in collecting back-to-school items for her classroom and school. She will also receive a campus pep rally with a Dynamo player, and a $500 donation from Dynamo Charities and Kroger to her school.

The four runners up will be honored with two game tickets and on-field recognition at a Dynamo game, a $1,000 Kroger gift card, a $250 donation to their school from Dynamo Charities and Kroger, and a meet-and-greet with a Dynamo player at the Kroger shopping spree location.
