Burglary of a business underway

RICHMOND/FORT BEND COUNTY (Covering Fort Bend News) - The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information concerning a burglary of a business in the 7700 block of Highway 99 in the Richmond area. (See the video below.) It happened Sunday, Aug. 4 in the pre-dawn hours. 

Deputies say 79 pairs of designer eye glass frames, ranging from Prada, Versace to Armani, were stolen. The resale value of the eyewear is estimated to be up to $20,000. 

The suspect is believed to be driving a late model white Honda Civic. He is a white male with a thin build and thin mustache. He is seen wearing a navy blue and gray Astros baseball cap with different colored surgical gloves. The suspect also appears to have a rosary and cross tattoo on the back of his left hand. 

It is believed the suspect may have targeted similar businesses in Fort Bend County and surrounding areas.

Information, which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspect(s) involved, could earn a tipster up to $5,000 cash reward.
