FULSHEAR (Covering Katy News) – There will likely be a big traffic in Fulshear over the weekend when FM 1463 at FM 1093 will be closed starting on Friday, July 27 at 9 p.m. until about 6 p.m. on Monday, July 30.
There will be no access to FM 1093 from FM 1463, and there will also be no access to FM 1463 from FM 1093, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.
“They are moving traffic to the new pavement so it won’t benefit you to try and be sneaky cutting through the Shell / McDonald’s,” said a social media post from the Sheriff’s Office.
FM 359 will only be affected from Friday at 9 p.m. until around 2 a.m., according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Access to FM 1093 from FM 359 will be reopened since that road is on the side of the new pavement. However, you’ll have to turn left or right. There will be no traffic allowed to cross to FM 1463.
The detour will be at Fry Road. The businesses south of there along FM 1463 will be open, but you’ll have to visit them and then come back to Fry Road to exit the area.
For people going to church at the Parkway Fellowship, the Sheriff’s Office says the church’s driveway on FM 1093 will be available Sunday.
“However, if you’re coming from north of FM 1093, your best bet will be to go through Cross Creek and come from the west and you can enter via FM 1093 driveway,” the statement said.
