FORT BEND COUNTY (Covering Fort Bend News) – RJC Productions, producer of the annual home shows in Katy, has announced that Culligan of Houston will present its Fall Home & Garden Show and Vintage Market Sept. 8-9 at the Merrell Center & Robinson Pavilion, 6301 S. Stadium Lane. Culligan of Houston provides a broad range of water services throughout the Texas Gulf Coast area.

“We’ve often heard water is the source of life.  I was amazed at just how much, and what, water touches in my own home,” said Robyn Cade, president of RJC Productions.  “As a business woman, mom and Katy resident, it’s truly reassuring to be able to partner with a valued provider like Culligan.  In fact, I was so impressed with the difference Culligan provides that we installed a system in our own home to ensure we are drinking the purest water.”

“It’s important for homeowners to be familiar with the quality of their drinking water,” said Culligan of Houston General Manager Brent Chinn. “We want them to be aware of the level of hardness, the dissolved solids content, excessive chlorine or chloramine levels, and in some cases where problem water issues are present like iron, acidity and hydrogen sulfide content. Our experts will analyze and then make recommendations as needed.

“We feel like there’s no better way to educate area residents than to be able to speak to them face-to-face.  And, certainly the Fall Katy Home & Garden Show affords us that.  Our region has gone through so much and with homeowners still rebuilding we want to make sure that everyone takes advantage of our free water test.”

Culligan of Houston joins hundreds of industry experts specializing in home décor, kitchens and baths, flooring, paint, home remodeling and more.  In addition, a range of speakers and topics will be featured such as vintage artisans and chalk-painters Arcalee Gautier and Megan Morgan of Vintage Back Roads. Gautier and Morgan will lead seminars on how to create vintage master pieces and more.  Visitors can also spruce up their yard and patio at the Fall Plant Sale from Brookwood Community or tour the Tiny Home Village.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $3 with a military ID.  Children 12 and under are free. Parking is also free. Hours are Saturday, Sept. 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  For ticket information, directions, and hours visit FallKatyHomeandGardenshow.com or call 832-392-0165.  A portion of ticket sales benefit Brookwood Community.
