ROSENBERG, Texas (Covering Fort Bend) – The Fort Bend Radio Control Club will host its 18th Annual RC Model Air Show on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 in Rosenberg. The public is invited. The club will donate proceeds from the event to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Gates will open at 8 a.m.

A Mini-Air Show will take off at 11 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m.
At 1:30 p. m. a drawing will be conducted for three “Ready-To-Fly” RC airplanes.
The Fort Bend RC Club facility has a 200-foot long covered pavilion to keep guests out of the sun for their viewing comfort.
“We have had wonderful support in years past and we are looking forward to another excellent event this year,” said R/C Club member Robert Nelson. “We also will have food and soft drinks available and there is no entry fee. We ask for donations that will go toward the St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Our audiences in past years have been generous.”
This event will be held at the Fort Bend R/C Club’s flying field, which is located on the Fort Bend County Recycle Center grounds off of Spur 529, approximately 1 ¼ miles south of the Avenue I and Spur 529 intersections in Rosenberg. Watch for direction signs to the Air Show.
