Richmond Fire Inspectors and Police Officers Team Together for World Read Aloud Day

RICHMOND (Covering Fort Bend News) – the Richmond Fire Marshal’s Office along with the Richmond Police Department recently celebrated World Read Aloud Day with opportunity to read to a classroom full of students at both Pink Elementary and Travis Elementary schools.

Every year, on World Read Aloud Day, people all around the globe read aloud together and share stories to advocate for literacy as a human right that belongs to all people. This global holiday, founded by LitWorld in 2010, encourages adults and children to spend time sharing stories and engaging in literature.
