MISSOURI CITY (Covering Fort Bend News) – Residents and visitors are encouraged to be mindful of two infrastructure updates while travelling within Missouri City next week:

Cabinet Update at FM 1092 and Cartwright Road

On Tuesday, June 11 beginning at 9 a.m., Missouri City staff and the contractor’s team will be replacing the traffic cabinet at the intersection of FM 1092 and Cartwright Road. As part of this project, the signals will be down for most of the day before the new cabinet is fully operational.

Delays are expected and motorists are advised to use caution while travelling in the area. MCTX police officers will be on-site to assist with traffic control.

Road Closure on Staffordshire

As part of the Independence Boulevard construction project, the city’s contractor will close Staffordshire Road to traffic North of Knanaya Homes to Scanlin Road on Thursday, June 13.

Residents of Knanaya Homes will continue to have access during construction. Traffic control and detour routes will be set up.
