Child Dies after Accidental Shooting in Fulshear

ROSENBERG (Covering Fort Bend News) – A husband and wife are dead and their adult daughter is wounded after a shooting near Rosenberg. The suspect has also reportedly died after shooting himself.

According to reports, around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, a road crew worker saw a gunman open fire on a woman in another vehicle. The woman was wounded and the gunman, her ex-boyfriend, shot himself.

When deputies arrived the injured woman asked them to check on her parents at their home nearby in the area of Navajo Court and Comanche Boulevard.

When deputies arrived at the home they found both parents dead.

The suspect was taken by helicopter to a nearby hostipal in critical condition. The woman is expected to recover.
