Pinnacle aquatic center

FORT BEND COUNTY (Covering Fort Bend News) - Fort Bend County Commissioners Court will hold a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Oct. 30 for the Pinaccle Senior Center’s new Aquatic Fitness Center located at 5525 Hobby Street in Houston. The public is invited to tour the facilities and meet the staff.

The Aquatic Fitness Center, now ready for use, features a 75’ x 30’ pool, which can be accessed by sloping walk, chair lift and stairs. The new facility also includes an exercise room, male and female bathrooms, locker rooms and shower. Aquatic group exercise classes will be held Monday through Friday with a variety of equipment available including in pool treadmills and bicycles. Lifeguards will be available during all Pinnacle aquatic fitness class times.

The project was part of the 2015 countywide parks bond package, with additional support coming from The George Foundation.

The Pinnacle Senior Center provides services to Senior Citizens age 50 and above that live within the Fort Bend/Houston area.
