National Night Out

RICHMOND (Covering Fort Bend News) – The Richmond Police Department will be participating in National Night Out on Tuesday, Oct. 1. National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for anticrime programs and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships.

The following locations will be hosting National Night Out events in Richmond;

  • Beat 1 / 1308 Clay Street (Heights Mini Mart) 6 p.m.
  • Beat 2 / 314 Rochelle 7 p.m.
  • Beat 3 / 224 Collins / 1110 Leonard 6 p.m., two separate events
  • Beat 4 / 103 N. Second (Cornerstone Ministries) 6 p.m.
  • Beat 8 / Freeman Town Park (South 7th at Burnet) 6 p.m.
  • Beat 11 / Wal Mart 6 p.m.
  • 2020 Rocky Falls – Brazos Bend Villa Apartments 6 p.m.

Events outside the Richmond City Limits include:

Del Webb Sweetgrass / Lost Pines Neighborhood 6 p.m.
