SUGAR LAND (Covering Fort Bend News) — Planned Community Developers, Ltd. has announced that State Fare Kitchen & Bar, a full-service restaurant specializing in upbeat atmosphere serving a spin on Texas favorites and southern cuisine, will open its second location in Sugar Land Town Square in late fall 2019.
State Fare’s Texas-inspired menu features more than 70 fresh, made-from-scratch items, including the frito pie and dill pickle dip with house made BBQ chips. State Fare recently revamped the menu adding new cuisine that incorporates the same southern dishes with a gulf coast spin, such as the bayou bacon wrapped shrimp, fried green tomatoes with lump crab and whiskey glazed brussel sprouts. The menu also features a “Lighter Fare” section that includes the EaDo poke bowl, black bean burger and vegan veggie spaghetti.
State Fare offers lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, happy hour and late-night bites. The creative craft cocktail program includes frozen flights and during weekend brunch, bloody Mary and mimosa flights to go perfectly with the XXL Pancakes.
“We are thrilled that State Fare chose to open its second location in Sugar Land and expand its local presence,” said Jennifer Fogle, director of retail leasing and sales for PCD. “I believe the restaurant will be top of mind for guests who want the taste of homestyle, Southern inspired cuisine.”
“I couldn’t be more excited to share a restaurant I truly love to such an amazing community. A premier location within Sugar Land Town Square will allow us to expand our State Fare Kitchen & Bar brand and introduce this concept to another part of Houston,” said Omar Khan, president and CEO of Culinary Khancepts.
The new restaurant will occupy a 6,086-square-foot space located at 15930 City Walk.
