BROOKSHIRE (Covering Katy News) – One person was stabbed to death and another was taken by Life Flight in serious condition after an apparent act of workplace violence during the evening shift at Orizon Industries in Brookshire. The homicide happened at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019. Orizon is located on FM 362 at Wilson Road. See map below.

Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety were on the scene late Wednesday night. Details of what led up to the killing were not released. The Waller County Sheriff’s Office is expected to provide additional information on Thursday.

The suspect, who is believed to be an employee, fled the scene.  It is not yet clear who the suspect is and there has been no indication that an arrest has been made.

Houston-based Spitzer Industries is the owner of Orizon. Spitzer is a steel fabrication business. The company provides very large custom made products for the energy industry. We have placed photos of the company’s custom work below.
