Cricket Wireless robbery suspect

RICHMOND (Covering Katy News) - Richmond police are looking for the man responsible for a robbery in the parking lot of Cricket Wireless located in the 1000 block of Jackson Street, also known as Highway 90A. The robbery happened at about 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 25, 2019.

A store employee was walking to her vehicle with the weekend deposits when she was approached by the suspect who demanded the money. The victim ran into a neighboring business where the suspect followed her continuing to demand the money.

"Fearing for her life the victim gave the suspect the money bag, said a statement from the Richmond Police Department. "The victim did not see a weapon during the robbery but stated the suspect appeared to be holding something under his clothing," the statement said. 

The suspect is described as a black male, late 20’s or early 30’s, heavy set with a beard. The suspect was wearing a black jacket, gray sweat pants and a dark stocking cap.
