HARRIS COUNTY (Covering Katy News) – It’s a Katy area murder case gone cold and detectives are offering information, and a video to spark people’s memories before they fade. They want to know who killed Frederick Kennedy. Crime Stoppers and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects responsible.

As Covering Katy previously reported, on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at approximately 1:40 a.m., Harris County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a shooting at an apartment complex located in the 5700 block of Greenhouse Road in Harris County, Texas. After arrival, the deputies found the lifeless body of the victim who had been shot to death. We know he suffered more than one gunshot wound.

“Upon arrival, units found an adult male in a common area of the complex.  The male suffered multiple gunshot wounds,” said a sheriff’s office report.

Witnesses in the area at the time of the shooting saw three black males run from the location and get into awaiting vehicles. Currently, there is no additional information about the suspects. The vehicle used by the suspects appears to be a gray Lincoln MKG or MKZ and a dark GMC or Chevrolet truck. Video of the men and their vehicle was released by the Sheriff’s office.
