FORT BEND COUNTY (Covering Katy News) - The reward for a Fort Bend County murder suspect has now tripled as the Fort Bend County District Attorney's Office attempts to find suspect Trevon Young.

Young, 24, is wanted for a robbery and murder that occurred on August 31, 2019 at the WB Food Mart on West Belfort Boulevard near Eldridge Road in Sugar Land. He is accused of murdering the clerk. 

The Crime Stoppers $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Young has now been increased to $15,000.

"We are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Trevon James Young," said a press release from the Fort Bend County District Attorney's Office.

The Fort Bend County District Attorney will hold a news conference about this case on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
