RICHMOND (Covering Katy News) - Harlem Road Park in Richmond officially opened Saturday morning with a ribbon cutting and a Lamar Little League t-ball game between the Yankees and the Giants. Juventus Academy Houston also hosted the first soccer game at the park. The park is located just east of Pecan Grove at 701 Harlem Rd, Richmond, TX 77406.

The new park facility has been under construction for months, through the office of Precinct 3 Commissioner Andy Meyers.

Concession stands, restrooms, and a storage facility were completed in May. Well and septic systems were also operational prior to the grand opening. There are lights for evening games on 2 baseball and 2 multi-purpose fields.

The park will be used for youth baseball, soccer, and football.
