NORTHWEST HARRIS COUNTY (Covering Katy News) - A 54-year-old man was shot at a local Chevron convenience store after complaining when another man cut in the checkout line. It happened in the 10900 block of West Little York near Brittmoore Road on Oct. 10, 2019.

The male suspect walked ahead of the victim and attempted to purchase items. A verbal altercation quickly turned to physical altercation. The male suspect pulled a pistol and shot the the victim one time in the upper torso. The shooter then fled from the store.

The victim is expected to make a full recovery from his wound according to a statement from the Harris County Sheriff's Office. 

The suspect is between 18 and 22 years old. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He has large black or brown afro style hair and a slight mustache and goatee.

"Anyone with information on the identification and whereabouts of this suspect is urged to call 713-2714-9100," said the sheriff's office statement.
