KATY (Covering Katy News) - Two Katy area residents are free on bond after being accused of unlawfully practicing medicine without a license. Carolina Flores-Paz, 36, and Enrique Eduardo Alvarez, 47, were arrested Monday at Delta Image Makers in the 11000 block of the Katy Freeway where they are accused of practicing dentistry without a license.
Police have confiscated dental equipment from the warehouse looking facility where the two operated, according to KTRK TV. Inside the building there were reportedly rooms with dental chairs and equipment.
According to court records, both Alvarez and Flores-Paz admitted to practicing dentistry without a license.
An undercover agent went to the office and the two "publicly professed to be physicians" and were willing to take money for their surgical services according to court documents.
