FORT BEND COUNTY (Covering Katy News) – The Office of Fort Bend County Precinct 3 Commissioner Andy Meyers is teaming up with Municipal Utility District 124 to bring more trees to the Katy area.

“One of the recent and beautiful additions to Precinct 3 is the park project at the NE corner of Westheimer Parkway and Falcon Landing Blvd., where MUD 124 has converted an old drill site into a beautiful community facility with water features and a walking trail,” Meyers said.

Meyers office partnered with MUD 124 and their landscape architects to transplant 30 mature live oak trees from Bates Allen Park in Kendleton, to the new park.

“More such projects are coming on line soon throughout our area as part of our ongoing partnerships with local MUDs and HOAs across Precinct 3,” Meyers said.
