HOUSTON (Covering Katy News) - A 19-year-old man accused of shooting an innocent woman to death as she was riding along Greenhouse Road is being held on $500,000 bond. As of Sunday morning he still was unable to post bond and was still locked up at the Harris County Jail.

Tekoney Blackledge is accused of firing a gun and one of the bullets struck Sarson James, 62, who had nothing to do with the incident that caused him to shoot. She was struck by the bullet while riding in a car with her husband. She was returning from a doctor's appointment.

Blackledge is charged with murder and engaging in organized criminal activity. Bond on each charge was set at $250,000.

A judge has set a $500,000 bond for the 19-year-old man accused of fatally shooting a 62-year-old Katy woman last month.

Blackledge was later arrested in Harrison County, Mississippi and returned to Harris County to face the charges against him
