KATY, HARRIS COUNTY (Covering Katy News) -  The Harris County Sheriff's Office says a juvenile male shot and killed a 19-year-old man late Saturday night at a house party in the 24100 block of Pepperrell Place Street.  The house is in the Williamsburg Hamlet subdivision near King Elementary School, off Franz Road, west of Highway 99. Deputies were called to the scene at 11:40 p.m.

"There was an adult male shot and deceased at the scene, said Sgt. Eric Clegg of the Harris County Sheriff's Office. "A female was shot and transported to an area hospital.The last update was that she had come out of surgery and was in stable condition."

The Sheriff's Office has not yet released the name of the young man who was killed. The female victim is 18-years-old according to a sheriff's office report. 

According to KPRC Channel 2, the juvenile shot his sister and then shot her boyfriend. Covering Katy has not yet confirmed the relationship between the suspect and those he allegedly shot. It is also not yet clear if investigators think the young man intended to shoot his sister or if she was was struck accidentally. 

"There were 10 or 12 individuals at a house party and the disturbance took place and the shooting occurred," Sgt. Clegg said. "We have recovered a weapon."

The weapon was a shotgun. 

Charges are expected against a the teen who is about 14-years-old. 

The parents were traveling at the time of the shooting.
