KATY/HARRIS COUNTY (Covering Katy News) - A 64-year-old Katy area man has been arrested after deputies from Harris County Precinct 5 say he admitted to placing several hidden cameras inside a home in the Bear Creek neighborhood.

The victims, two female roommates and a 4-year-old daughter of one of the victims, called the office of Constable Ted Heap after discovering hidden cameras in several rooms of their home in the 15800 block of Sandy Hill Drive.

After a detailed investigation, deputies obtained an arrest warrant for Gregory Gene Walker, a friend of the 4-year-old and her 28-year-old mother.

Walker has been charged with three felony charges of invasive video recording and possession of lewd visual material depicting a child. According to court documents the cameras took video of both women and the child while they were unclothed.

“This is a disturbing case made even worse by a preschooler being one of the victims,”  Constable Heap said. “I’m just relieved that our deputies were able to get to the bottom of this, identifying the suspect and getting an arrest warrant for him.”

Walker turned himself in shortly after a warrant was issued for his arrest. He is currently out on bond while awaiting trial.
