KATY (Covering Katy News)– The Texedelphia restaurant has confirmed that it is opening December 3 in Katy.
Texadelphia says it is the home of the “Original Texas Cheesesteak” – taking the Philadelphia cheesesteak and adding a Texas flair and fresh ingredients for a one of kind taste experience.
“We are extremely honored and excited to open the first Texadelphia location in Katy, Texas,” said franchisee Jeremy Sanders.
The restaurant in Katy will be the first of its kind for the Texadelphia brand as it will feature one full bar on the first level and an open-air “sky bar” on the upstairs mezzanine level. It will have at least 30 TVs, 36 beer taps, extensive wine list, and a 150” HD Projector TV for special sporting events.
“If you are a sports fan and love Texadelphia food, you will be in the right place,” Sanders said.
The restaurant will be located at 1400 N. Westgreen Blvd. in Katy, Texas in the Westgreen Commons development. Developers have leased 5,500 square feet.
“Those familiar with the Texadelphia brand will be amazed at the transformation of the new locations and others new to the concept will love the atmosphere and incredible food,” said Sanders.
The Katy Texadelphia plans to open at 11 a.m. daily and will offer catering and bookings for private parties.
First opened in Austin, in 1981 by Philadelphia native Joel Stanley, Texadelphia features all FRESH ingredients – including the choice beef, original Philadelphia Hoagie Rolls, House-made sauces and Homemade Salsa & Queso.
Texadelphia specializes in creating unique cheesesteak sandwiches – including 12 signature cheesesteak creations with a variety of fresh Texas ingredients, as well as a full complement of burgers, sandwiches and salads.
