HOUSTON (Covering Katy News) - The Astros took game one of the American League Division Series 6 - 2 against the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday.

Second baseman Jose Altuve hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning and pitcher Justin Vrelander held off the Rays at Houston's Minute Maid Park with seven scoreless innings. 

The Rays had just one hit — Brandon Lowe's leadoff single in the fifth inning.
